Kharla Fannon

Share 3 skills that make you stand out.
1. I have 15 years of professional training in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip & Contemporary dance.
2. I have previously learnt about costume, sound, lighting and stage design. These skills have come in handy when wanting to perform and create theatre with a low budget!
3. Does living in England and having an Australian accent count?

List any upcoming shows or films you are super excited to see and why?
I am super excited for Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story coming out at the end of the year! I am a bit of a musical theatre geek in general so I can’t wait to see what he does with it. Also my favourite binge series, Stranger Things and Sex Education have been renewed for their next seasons so I am very eagerly awaiting to find out what happens in both. They are both so different but so cleverly written and gripping in their own ways.

Dream Role(s)
In the style of an early 2000’s romantic comedy like 10 Things I Hate About You, Notting Hiill, The Holiday or 13 Going On 30 that would be the dream. Or even a Disney live-action adaptation or a sit-com like Friends. I’m a sucker for rom-com so I can’t pretend that I wouldn’t LOVE to play a lead female role in one!
